Let us turn your group into a sailing crew! They will be split into crews and tasked with designing a sailing vessel and then attempting to build it! Each vessel must be sea worthy because they will be put to the test in our competitive boat regatta at the end of this event. Each crew must design a flag, decide on a crew and boat name, a sailor’s team chant and assign a captain to race the crew’s boat in the regatta. All of the materials needed to build and design the boat will be provided but it’s up to the group to determine their voyage. Boat building is a wonderful brainstorming activity that forces co-workers to feed off each others ideas and work together to achieve a common goal. When all the boats are finished, each crew will present their boat & flag to the judges and perform their “sailors chant”. After the judging, teams will race their boat aiming for the fastest time. The team with the highest overall score will be titled the winning crew and awarded with custom medals.
